The Directorate of Postgraduate Studies (DPS) is a service and administrative center established to assist postgraduate students in the processes involved from their registration at MMUST up to the completion of their studies.

Formerly known as the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) the Directorate is the core support system that helps ease and enhance the postgraduate experience for MMUST students, molding them into future successful researchers and nation builders.

DPS coordinates the establishment and development of graduate programs, admission and conduct of examinations, and student welfare matters and stimulates mutual engagement of staff and graduate students. We strive to promote university-wide excellence in graduate education, training, research, and communication of research findings.

The Directorate has a board of management that works closely with the various Schools Graduate Studies Committees (SGSC) and Departmental Graduate Studies Committees (DGSC) drawn from ten Schools of MMUST. The Directorate’s core values are customer focus, collegiality, excellence, professionalism, equity, accountability, and innovativeness.
