Welcome to the Directorate of Postgraduate studies that is located at the Administration Block A, Fourth Floor, Room 410. The directorate has a mandate of enhancing research and development and innovation in the university.

Our mission is to provide relevant structures to enhance excellent university education, training and research through the integration of science, technology and innovation to achieve the university vision of making MMUST a premier university in science, technology
and innovation. The directorate not only endeavors to provide support to post graduate students, but also commits to uphold professionalism, integrity, team work, accountability, equality and transparency during our operations.

Additionally, we continue to advice, guide and mentor postgraduate students on key activities including admission procedures, registration, progression and oral examinations. Information on issues regarding publications and regulations on processing documents right from application to examination and graduation are also provided. In consultation with different departments, deans of various schools, centers and institutes, the directorate commits to successfully implement our university policies. The directorate also laisses with the directorate of quality assurance to support the implementation of their recommendations relating to post graduate education and that of research at the university.

The directorate takes responsibility to provide support structures for
professional development and a research environment that promotes creativity and innovation in liaison
with the directorate of research and other relevant offices.
