On Thursday, 12th September 2024, Mr. Cosmas Kamais (Reg. No. CPC/H/14-70020/2021) successfully defended his PhD Thesis, titled ‘Contextualizing Transition Implications of Kenyan Contingent in African Union Mission in Somalia on Kenya's National Security.'
The thesis was examined and reports from both external and internal examiners were received by the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies (DPS), which is headed by Prof. Stephen Odebero. Mr. Kamais' supervisors were Prof. Pontain Godfrey Okoth and Dr. Sussy Kimokoti.
The postgraduate student is from the School of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (SDMHA) headed by Dr. Ferdinand Nabiswa
